To acept the natural aging – uha det kan være svært. Jeg har det i bund og grund godt med min alder på 55 år – wow – det er egentlig mange år.

Jeg synes selv jeg har været god til at passe på mig selv og holde mig selv ved lige. Naturligvis er jeg ikke blind, jeg kan sagtens se de forandringer som tiden bringer.

Jeg har valgt at accepterer forfaldet i stedet for at forsøge at kæmpe imod det. Det vil jo være at narre mig selv hvis jeg tror lidt gift i ansigtet kan ændre noget.

Det er jo ikke kun ansigtet som ældes – nej desværre ældes, hænder, arme, ben, mave ja sågar ryg på samme måde som ansigtet. Og det er faktisk skræmmende og mindst lige så svært at vænne sig til som det var at følge med i pubertetens forandringer af krop og sjæl.

Jeg har resoneret at det er bedre at bibeholde min naturlige mimik og mit eget ansigt – et ansigt som så vil passe sammen med resten af kroppen. Og jeg indrømmer at jeg lige som de fleste ikke synes det er særlig sjovt. Og ja jeg ved godt jeg er heldig fordi jeg har vundet i gen lotteriet og ældes i en behageligt langsom tempo.

Jeg har som sagt valgt den modige beslutning at accepterer uden at det betyder jeg så bare lader stå til. Livsstil betyder lige så meget for udseendet som for helbredet og derfor prøver jeg at have en sund livsstil.

Som jeg før har fortalt spiser jeg fortrinsvis efter LCHF hvilket vil sige jeg undgår sukker og stivelse og i stedet spiser masser af grøntsager, nødder, frø og kød. Jeg sørger for at drikke rigeligt med vand og spiser vitaminer.

Jeg sørger også for at pleje min hud med gode produkter som indeholder ingredienser med dokumentationen i orden.

Studier viser, at C-vitamin øger cellefornyelsen (uden at cellenedbrydningen samtidig øges). Derved produceres mere kollagen. Men C-vitamin er meget ustabilt og forgår let, så den optimale effekt opnås kun, hvis der anvendes stabiliseret C-vitamin. Derudover er det nødvendigt at “smugle” C-vitaminen helt ned i bindevævet.

Det betyder, at den skal indkapsles i et transportstof, f.eks. essentielle fedtsyrer. Du kan også øge den generelle tilstedeværelse af C-vitamin i kroppen, og derved i huden, ved at tage C-vitamin som kosttilskud. Gå dog stadig efter en stabiliseret form, f.eks. magnesium-L ascorbyl phosphate.

En anden af de ingredienser, der rent faktisk kan penetrere huden og nå helt ned til fibroblasterne, er retinol (A-vitamin). Retinol virker ved at hæmme det enzym, der nedbryder kollagen, samtidig med at celledelingen øges. De fleste retinol-produkter er receptpligtige og kan let irritere huden. Hvis du har sensitiv hud, kan der være en stor fordel i at holde dig til den naturlige udgave, retinoid (ikke receptpligtig).

70 % af hudens vægt udgøres af proteinet kollagen. Kollagen findes og produceres i fibroblasterne i bindevævet, og jo ældre du bliver, jo langsommere arbejder fibroblasterne. Det betyder, at når du runder 35 år, så nedbryder dine celler mere kollagen, end de producerer, og huden begynder at “falde” sammen, hvilket giver linjer og rynker. Sådan er de barske realiteter. Hvis du synes, det er lidt for tidligt, kan det betale sig at kigge dybere i cremekrukken. Der er nemlig stor forskel på, hvilke ingredienser, der gør hvad, og om de virker.

Tidligere troede man, at hvis man tilsatte kollagen (dengang fra dyr, i dag fra planter) i en creme, så var den yndige alderdom sikret. Men alene molekylestørrelsen i kollagenet gør det fysisk umuligt for ingredienserne at trænge ned i bindevævet. Og hvorfor spilde penge på kollagen-produkter, hvis de kun ligger på overfladen og blærer sig?

Nyere forskning har derimod vist, at de virkelig effektive ingredienser går efter en direkte påvirkning af fibroblasterne i bindevævet. Altså at optimere selve “fabrikken” i huden, frem for kun at male facaden. Det kan ske på tre måder:

1.Ved at “booste” kollagenproduktionen i fibroblasterne og hermed øge indholdet af frisk kollagen i cellerne.

2. Ved at øge den generelle cellefornyelse. Det giver øget indhold af både kollagen, elastin (elasticitet) og hyaluron (fugt). Det giver dog også en øget produktion af det enzym, der nedbryder kollagen/cellen.

3. Ved at hæmme det enzym, der nedbryder kollagen, collagenase. Derigennem får det allerede eksisterende kollagen lov til at arbejde i fred.

Der er altså hjælp at hente ved at anvende cremer med dokumentationen i orden og så spise fødevarer rige på lysine (hjælper kroppen med at absorbere kalcium og danne kollagen). Lysine findes i proteinholdige fødevarer, f.eks. sardiner, rødt kød, nødder, æg, sojabønner.

Spis fødevarer rige på C-vitamin (askorbinsyre): Hybenpulver, koriander, persille, frugt (især citrusfrugter), frugtjuice, kartofler, bønnespirer.

Spis fødevarer rige på antioxidanter: f.eks. blåbær, kidneybønner, kartofler, æbler med skræl og valnødder.

To acept the natural aging – uh that can be difficult. I’m basically good at my age of 55 years – wow -that’s really many years.

I think I’ve been good to take care of myself. Of course I’m not blind, I can easily see the changes that time brings. I have chosen to accept the decay instead of trying to fight it. It would be to fool myself if I think a little poison on the face would change anything.

It’s not just the face that age – no, unfortunately does the hands, arms, legs, stomachs and even back age like the face. And it’s actually scary and at least as hard to get use to as it was to keep up with the changes of body and soul in the puberty.

I have reasoned that it is better to maintain my natural mimic and my own face – a face that will fit with the rest of the body. And I admit that I like most people,  do not think it’s fun. And yes, I know I’m lucky because I’ve won the geen lottery and is aging at a relatively slow pace. As I said, I have chosen the courageous decision to accept it, I mean, just let it happen.

Lifestyle means just as much for the appearance as for the health and therefore I try to have a healthy lifestyle. As I have previously told, I prefer to eat LCHF, which means I avoid sugar and starch and instead eat lots of vegetables, nuts, seeds and meats. I make sure to drink plenty of water and eat my vitamins.

I also take care of my skin with good products that contain ingredients with the documentation in order. Studies show that vitamin C enhances cell renewal (without increasing cellular decay). This produces more collagen. But vitamin C is very unstable and passes easily, so the optimal effect is only achieved if stabilized vitamin C is used. In addition, it is necessary to “smuggle” vitamin C completely into the connective tissue. This means that it must be encapsulated in a transport material, for example. essential fatty acids.

You can also increase the overall presence of vitamin C in the body, and thereby in the skin, by taking vitamin C as a dietary supplement. However, still go for a stabilized form, as for example. magnesium-L ascorbyl phosphate. Another of the ingredients that can actually penetrate the skin and reach all the way down to the fibroblasts is retinol (vitamin A). Retinol works by inhibiting the enzyme that degrades collagen while increasing cell division. Most retinol products are prescription and can easily irritate the skin. If you have sensitive skin, it may be a great advantage to stick to the natural version, retinoid (not prescription).

70% of the skin’s weight is constituted by the protein collagen. Collagen is found and produced in the fibroblasts of the connective tissue, and the older you become, the more slowly the fibroblasts work. This means that when you run 35 years, your cells break down more collagen than they produce, and the skin begins to “collapse”, giving lines and wrinkles. Such are the harsh realities.

If you think that’s a bit too early, it might be worth looking deeper in the cream pot. There is a big difference between which ingredients do what and what they are. Earlier, it was believed that if you added collagen (from animals, today from plants) into a cream, the adorable old age was secured. However, only the molecular size of the collagen makes it physically impossible for the ingredients to penetrate the connective tissue. And why waste money on collagen products if they only lie on the surface and blow?

Recent research, on the other hand, has shown that the really effective ingredients go for a direct effect on the fibroblasts in the connective tissue. Thus optimizing the actual “factory” in the skin, rather than painting the facade only. There can be three ways:

1.To boost ‘collagen production’ in the fibroblasts, thereby increasing the level of healthy collagen in the cells.

2. By increasing the overall cell renewal. It provides increased content of both collagen, elastin (elasticity) and hyaluron (moisture). However, it also gives an increased production of the enzyme that degrades the collagen / cell.

3. By inhibiting the enzyme that breaks down collagen, collagenase. This allows the already existing collagen to work in peace. Therefore, help with applying creams with the documentation in order and to eat foods rich in lysine (helps the body absorb calcium and form collagen). Lysine is found in protein-containing foods, for example. sardines, red meat, nuts, eggs, soybeans. Eat foods rich in vitamin C (ascorbic acid): Hybenpowder, coriander, parsley, fruit (especially citrus fruits), fruit juice, potatoes, bean sprouts. Eat foods rich in antioxidants: eg. blueberries, kidney beans, potatoes, apples with peel and walnuts.
